Privacy Policy

Information on the processing of personal data under the GDPR.

Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is Hannes Schmidt, Kapuzinerstraße 18, 39011 Lana, Südtirol / Italien. If you have any questions about data protection, you can reach us at [email protected].

General

Use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (such as name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent. We point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Server log files

For smooth operation and, where applicable, troubleshooting, log files are kept on our web server in which IP addresses are stored. In addition, the time of access, the browser type and the page accessed are stored. While IP addresses alone do not constitute personal data, they could theoretically be attributed to individuals. These logs are deleted automatically after a short period. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Account and registration data

When you create an account with KISO, we process the data you provide (in particular your name, email address, company and your password in encrypted form) to provide the service and manage your account. The legal basis is the performance of the contract of use (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Contacting us

If you send us enquiries by email or contact form, your details, including the contact data you provide, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Payment processing

We use the payment service provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland) to process paid subscriptions. The data required for payment is transmitted directly to Stripe and processed there; we ourselves do not store full payment data. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Further information can be found in Stripe's privacy policy.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to provide essential functions such as signing in and storing your language preference. You can find more information in our Cookie Policy.

Web analytics (Google Analytics)

Our website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Cookies are used for this purpose that enable an analysis of the use of the website. The information generated is generally transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Your IP address is truncated (anonymised) in the process, so that no direct reference to a person can be established. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can revoke at any time with effect for the future. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser accordingly. Further information on how user data is handled can be found in Google's privacy policy.

Hosting

Our website is hosted by a professional service provider. The provider processes the data required to provide the website (in particular access data) on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement.

Your rights

You generally have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have otherwise been infringed, you can lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, a message to the email address above is sufficient.

SSL encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address line changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Changes

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services. The current version then applies to your next visit.
